How did they got those images on the veld.
It look very real
Do someone know if they use projectors and how many.

(One) very powerful projector. You could tell by the shadow projected by the people on the pitch. ;)

I was listening on 702 and they had a guy on from VWV who was in charge and apparently they used a combination of multiple projectors and some other (French?) tech wizardry to stitch the images together to form one. A guaranteed :wtf: from the whole world on that too as it's said to be a world first (on that scale at least).

You could see that it was multiple projectors from the differing shadows on pitch, but regardless it was absolutely AWESOME to watch.

Certainly not a world first, same technology was used in China for the olympics ceremonies.

Ok, maybe the guy was blowing his own trumpet a bit; I'm just going on hearsay. I think his point was that it was on such a large scale.

Nope this is edited in by the televison studio, not a projection.

Oh is that it?
When I saw them I though it must suck for the people sitting behind those massive screens, talk about a partially obstructed view :D:D:D

JaquesD, if you believe those projected images were "edited by a television studio", you must be very naïve.

yeah, they just popped on out of nowhere and disappeared again. /was kinda hoping it is some kind of high-tech hologram or something :D
