World ends May 21, 2011.

A friend of mine pointed out that they only difference between this guy and just about anyone else who believes in any sort of religion is that he made a claim that could easily be disproved. So, the question is, is he an idiot for his belief, or an idiot because he was disproved?

Apparently, he "miscalculated" and it was only a "spiritual judgment day" and they world is going to really, seriously end on the 21st of October.

The sad thing is there are still people who will believe this loon...

Did he actually say the world would end 21 May?

Did he ever actually say the world will end 21 May? From what I remember they said on the link someone here posted that 21 May is judgement day, and 21 October is the end of the world.

Interesting, i thought the rapture starts on the day you guys say it's suppose to end. Anyways i don't know why people are moaning about what happened, if you believe what people tell you without proof then you cannot moan.

Anyways so let's see what has happened since the rapture begun, volcano exploding (happened last year as well). Some of the worst storms in US history. So nothing unusual as yet :D.

He explicitly stated that Jesus would return and take all believers to heaven on that date. Oh, and in 1994 too. On that day, fire would engulf the skies and it would spark the end of days for humanity as non-believers and sinners were slowly killed off until October.

So in short, yes he did...
