I just put it onto English to German, paused credits on the tv and pointed it at that. Then my jaw dropped so hard I think I cracked the floor.

Tried it years ago when it launched on iOS. It only did English->Spanish. It kinda worked. Let me see the new version ...

Most likely using the tesseract engine for OCR.
