I'm really chuffed about this, because I never win anything! I've been racing over at iRacing since the get go (from the beta, in 2008) where I'm nothing more than a mid-pack racer with the occasional top 5 and a handful of wins under my belt. Recently I entered a hotlap competition for Project Cars - more for fun than anything else - and ended up with the world record time for the Clio Cup at Donington GP. It's sure to be beaten soon, particularly as more players start playing (been out in Europe for a while, but just released in the USA). Nevertheless, I shall bask in the glory while I can :D

Hey syba, grats man! I used to race against you back in the old Nascar mod days.

I might just get Project CARS and dust off the old Momo

Hiya RoosTa!! The memories come flooding back. I was over-the-hill back then already, but have kinda kept the hobby alive via iRacing.

I picked up Project Cars expecting a very casual experience, but was surprised by the authenticity. It's certainly proven that a racing game doesn't have to be purely arcade, to be a success on the console. It's certainly grabbed my attention. Even missed one or two of my iRacing races. It's not completely bug free, but def a step up from Forza and GT on the consoles. It's certainly playable with a game-pad, but of course, if you have a wheel you'll really get the most out of it. If you're on the PC, you'll be fine. That trusty momo won't work on the next gen consoles unfortunately.

Hope to see you on track or on one of those leaderboards soon :)
