Yes it is pyramid scheme-ish as most multi-level marketing companies are but is anyone here a part of it or had people attempting to recruit them? Or any other experience with them?

I've had a lot of people recently trying to get me to join before which I had never heard of it. Not that I'm going to join. The google results seem very negative.

Perhaps this thread will draw some of its members to tell us about how great it is and how great they're doing.

I've had several people try to recruit me. I just tell them I'm not interested. Don't have the time to explain to them how it is a "legal" pyramid scheme.

I'm studying in the accounting profession, so the first thing they tell me is that the FS are audited by E&Y or one of the "smaller" Top 4, can't remember. I usually just laugh at that part, mostly cause I'm not with E&Y.

Not to mention how they ALWAYS brag how the money is "tax free". Then I explain how all income should be declared to SARS, which they don't seem to care about too much.

Generally once I say I'm out they turn hostile and say they feel sorry for me and how I'm missing out on this tremendous opportunity to make money. I just lol.

They are all sold the "get rich quick/get rich without working" dream these sales reps feed them. As the saying goes, a fool and his money are soon parted.

I'm beginning to love Norway more and more every day...

An interesting fact is that most investors in these schemes know that they are Ponzi or Pyramid schemes. This is a HUGE business and rakes in (out) billions pa.
There is even a website forum where the "clever money" people discuss this and give tips to new schemes.
The trick is to find new ones and get in and out within 3 or so months with clever money and then leave the stupid money to do the damage.

The thing with any pyramid scheme is that you have to get in early. Not so early that you're arrested for being a founder, but early enough to make proper returns. As time goes on and more people join it's harder and harder to make actual money off the idiots.

Generally though, stay far, far away from them. I wouldn't even go near one of these things if someone paid me to. The whole "take advantage of the stupid" doesn't sit well with me. The sad thing is its the poor/middle class that are the ones being exploited in these schemes. I guess they're the most gullible.

The term "stupid money" is a term used in investing and trading circles for people that buy at the wrong time and not termed by me.
I was merely using that term.

I have seen posts about Sashin Govender all over my time-line. Quite a few people I know are sharing his posts and pics, and have started recruiting.

Seems like he is living it up. I can't say the same about the people I know.

Pyramid scheme or multi level marketing thing to me. Like amway
