Maybe Botswana will eventually get the equipment to extract diamonds like this. Or maybe the Canadians just got lucky. Doubt it though, because they also discovered a very large diamond around 2015 in Botswana.

I scanned the X comments on a post about this diamond and there were many similar comments to yours there. Interestingly none of them were from Botswanans (not sure what the correct term for people from Botswana is). Anyway, you might want to take a moment to look at the Botswana political and economic climate. Their per capita GDP is quite a bit higher than ours and their government far more stable. They also don't care about the manufactured outrage regarding race/colonialism and simply focus on building their country.

BAtswana people, come from Botswana.

But yes, your comment is on the money. Bots has avoided a lot of the **** we waste time on. Its on my list of places to check out for plan B.

dimonds are basically worthless and BS articles like this keep pushing up the percieved value.

they are not rare, nor are they any more beautiful that quarts or any other clear stone.
