Resident Postwhore
So firstly, I have posted this before but i's obviously not linked to what I thought was the problem, so I need to ask you guys again
I started up the PC from being off overnight and ......... blank screen! Went into blind panic mode (coz that's how us tech noobs roll ) and restarted again. Got to a page where it states that something went wrong due to a hardware/software change blah blah and it gives you options to start in safe mode, last known working configuration, etc (first time I've seen this so bear with not knowing what that page is). So I selected 'start windows normally' and everything went about as usual. This is now the second time it's happened so /me is in worry mode now.
So what I want to know is, was that crash hardware related or just some typical Windows foolery?
Oh Also, everytime I restart, certain small settings (taskbar related especially) go back to default? Why is the configuration resetting? And, can anyone tell me what that 'Execute' and 'Reboot Setup' is in the screenie below (it's in the startup menu)? Info appreciated.
