Huawei stuff is cheap, sometimes it works sometimes it doesn't. Pretty sure 101% is back-doored and/or calls home.

I run OpenWRT on a small X86 system. Use a cheapo TP-Link router for Wifi.

Noticing every time we do a fresh install Openserve are dropping these even though you aren't signed up with them and they do broadcast their own wifi no way to turn it off.

Yeah, this is what they’ve told us to do:
Sign up here, free router, free installation and first month free at 50mbps, thereafter they put you on prepaid if you haven’t yet signed up with an SP.

Im not following…

Openserve is not meant to provide preferential treatment to Telkom. All ISPs need to be on a level playing field.
