So i see the newspaper is predicting the mother of all storms tonight and tomorrow. it is starting to get in bit windy

I'm in Pretoria and the wind has been crazy the whole day!

Any links to online prediction of the storm?

for the past 2 years September / October we have been having floods in the south cape, its all that saterday afternoon braais that are contributing to global warming
 
I'm in Pretoria too and the wind's been going mad for the last two days. I remember the days here when we used to have a thunderstorm every afternoon at around 4pm....
 
It was supposed to hit CT at 3pm I see.

Yup, it was called Summer.
 
I can hear it over here. Power switched off as well 15min ago fro a short while. It must be getting hectic.
 
+1 for Durban. We get bad storms but they're more spectacular than damaging.

More like a standard cyclical weather pattern. Since no storm is the same, some will be better others worse. This one happens to be so bad its the worst for 7 years, but then 7 years ago there was a worst storm than this one.
 
i live in ysterplaat, here in cape town and the rain and wind is freakin scary people.
