The big problem is they ported the PS2 version. They later patched it to the GameCube version though.

The GC version was good I had it until I was robbed, thought let me get the pc version one day to replay and yes it was the ps2 version horrible cut scenes, textures and lighting wrong. Even the patch didn't bring it quite up to the gc version but it did improve it a bit.
Gears of war on the pc was also a joke
