We tried Kalecgos 1st time last night ,we got him to like 60ish 1s attempt and I thought what an easy boss, then i clicked on a portal



I found trash before kalecgos incredibly annoying thou

Ohhh the Kalecgos fight is awsome ! Lots of tactical execution is required here.
The fun starts when you reach +/- 10 % and you have to take the demon + kalecgos down @ the same time, and he gets enraged. If you guys are getting him down to 60% on first tries, thats damn good !

As for the trash mobs... no they are awsome ! They drop some of the best loot in game... once you get to kalecgos, there is very little trash all the way to Eredar twins / Muru. All those yummie crafting recipes, caster wands, polearms, sunmotes etc !

@ Y2K... Hunters are not getting shafted. We are getting sick buffs as well !
I am still in two minds about the hunter talent trees... MM is looking pretty powerful, but at the same time I think the BM tree will make the hunter an even better solo playing class... Tanking abilities on the pets are getting massive upgrades. One thing is for sure... we will need bigger quivers, because we will be dishing out a lot more arrows now with autoshot timers removed from special shots.

Ok so my hunter is only lvl 34, but storing food and arrows is not that rough...

Food takes up 4 slots maybe. And arrows at the moment cost something like 4 silver for 200? thats hardly gonna break the bank.

I think thats a very small price to pay for owning in BGS

Incidently when i was leveling my priest i think i must have spent about 100 gold, maybe more on buying food and drink for myself. Having to drink after killing 4-5 mobs is pretty lame.

The day people start moaning about pet food and shards is the day that WoW really does become obselete.

Arrows and food were never a problem for me on my hunter. Neither was pet loyalty, happiness/sadness, or any of the other 'problems' that hunters cry about these days. I've levelled a druid and a shammy to 70, working on a warlock, and have various other alts in the 20 to 40 range. Without a doubt, the hunter was the most enjoyable and relaxing toon to level. Things like feign death really have 'ezmode' stamped all over them. Only my levelling warlock gives me that same 'op' feel.

You get a lot of return for your 'investment'. Hunters are ridiculously easy to level, and provide lots of endgame dps and utility, are outright OP in BG's and pretty solid lately in arena in the right combos. They're getting a lot of love in beta right now, too.

Mages get the shaft as much as warriors

Shamans get interesting buffs - Thunder, Summon Wolves, Imp Shamanistic Rage No comment about Resto talents , least you can spec elemental with the exact same gear

Would have loved additional bag space, since our Quiver takes up one slot, + pet food.

Try being a druid. You run around with 3 complete sets of gear all the time. Bagspace is more valuable than Clifton beach condos.

Ye we got two trash drops before we reach Kalecgos, fist weapon and a dead sexy wand(Which I passed proving a point im nota loot whore ;p) We may have got Kale to 60 but the demon in the portal (name eludes me) was like 90%. While I was in the portal the raid wiped and I TP’d back out and Kalecgos had despawned So I took my chances and tried to dash around that corridor and corner hoping to get a look at brutalus. No luck thou

The scouts are pain staking thou :O . It took us a wipe to learn they link to the groups (Our mage RL was like ‘ don’t worry guys Ill just slow him” xD). And several more trying to nuke them and cc the groups. I found some of those pulls the most technical Ive seen yet.
Anyway back to the BT grind
