GameSpy: One of the new zones, Sholazar Basin, is like Un'Goro version 2.0. A lot of the stuff that made Un'Goro Crater interesting, like the colorful crystals and pylons, are coming back. Do you find that bringing back familiar themes is a large part of the Northrend experience?
Brack: I think we look at the things that we really like, like the Scarlet Crusade. Scarlet Monastery is probably the most famous instance that we've done in the original game, and the one that players ran the most. Finding ways to continue those storylines is part of our motivation. Scarlet Onslaught is a part of that.
Un'Goro Crater was a really cool zone, and Stranglethorn Vale is another zone that brings some influence into Sholazar. The pylons and the protective sphere is kind of a Netherstorm idea, with the various domes in that zone. The titans having a petri dish where they can play with different things is a really neat idea. We're always thinking about things that we liked about the old game, and things that we liked about what players did in the past, both from our own experiences as well as those of our players, and ways to bring that forward.
The Sons of Arugal is another great example. Shadowfang Keep was another popular instance back in the old world, and bringing forth that idea and that storyline again is pretty cool.
