How else do you explain the 6% broadband penetration in South Africa?

When are you and the shareholders you report to going to realize that charging 6% of the population R300pm is far less revenue than charging 20% or more R200pm!

Now please stop counting your R15M salary, step out from behind your big oak executive desk and tell us simple people why you're such a functional grade A**hole!!!

Ok so Rueben's secretary just contacted me with a message from the man himself...

To all my South African broadband clients, I have just been woken from Cryostasis and are feeling very embarrassed to say the least. I've been frozen for almost 3 years and have just woken to find that our entry level broadband speeds are no faster than dialup. I've also been made aware of the terms shaping and capped and cannot appologise enough for keeping our beautiful country in the dark ages.

Telkom is not only an embaressment to the country and its people but has caused extensive damage to potential global investors put off by the absurd networking costs involved if starting a business here.

So, starting today I'm going to right all the wrongs and offer more suitable and affordable ADSL packages like an 8 meg unlimited connection for R350pm.

he then ended with....

"Physche!!!!! Dreams are free and South African broadband isn't so pay up and shut up!!"
