Would you pay to play on a gaming server?

Hi All..

Just doing some research here!


My Question to you is:

Would you pay to play on a Minecraft server that:

Has themes according to different times of the year
Is managed by a Mod 24/7
has plugins and antigreifing tools installed
Is run by a company and is hosted in their DC

Or would you rather join it for free and pay to get items in the game that you would want (For example a Diamond pickaxe or Diamonds or something like that. Also like to generate a house for you?)

Having run a minecraft server (at that stage the biggest in the country), "pay" does not go down well with the majority of the young folk.

I want an SA server with factions and a do-what-you-want attitude. Would make it more interesting

Well...for example this Halloween its gonna run a whole Vampire and Warewolf theme. With some cosmetic changes for it. The server is pretty much do what you want already. Theres also a battle arena where players can fight each other

There are already cool minecraft servers you can do that one. Beastcraft.co.za is free for normal people and you can pay for stuff like flying and god mode. It is well modded.

Sorry ghoti what do you mean, no attack just reading it this and wondering if it's a game thing? I would pay a small monthly fee if it was a good server and it was populated. Not more than 50 rand a month though.
