pay more for an internet connection that is reliable than an unreliable one? I am referring to SAT3 vs Seacom.

After this weeks terrible mess with Seacom I am seriously considering dropping all Seacom connections and paying bit more for SAT3

At home, quantity over quality, at work... well.. quantity again, but with a couple of backups incase...

Quality all the way.

The Seacom should however have a diverse route in place for it's traffic traversing the mediterranean soon.

Nope - I pay more than enough for uncapped. I don't really mind if its down for a few days. Its not nice, but not the end of the world.

I reckon after this break, Seacom will be looking at other backup options aswell. After all they don't want their name to be dragged through the mud again :D
