I am pretty sure that pre-3.0.2 my wow folder was 10-11 gigs.
If i check the folder now it is a paltry 7.2 gigs or so, looks like blizzard streamlined it after the patch.

Another thing, does anyone else play on a laptop?
I have noticed after the patch that my laptop gfx card is running a LOT hotter than usual... and i have it on good authority from another player and my boet that their laptops are practically smoking too. in fact my bro's laptop actually switched itself off yesterday after an overheat - surely this is not normal? The game should not cause such a drastic increase in heat on the gfx because of some upgrades in the graphics engine?

Yeah, been having the same issue with my notebook. It's almost become unplayable on my laptop, especially if you in a busy area or City like SW or Shattrath.

I play on a laptop. HP AMD dual core. I think it has a geforce9900 or something. It always ran hot. In winter, and it is winter now :), i put my hand on the left side which is the warmest. awesome. keep my hot-chocolate on that side and beer on the opposite side. No, not noticed any change since patch.
