World of Warcraft US: Key + 30 days play (approx. €43) IN STOCK NOW!

Just explain please if I buy this I get the game code as well as 30 days play time. What happen after the 30 days? Can I then pay the $15.00 to Blizzard per month or do I have to bay the game cards?

I have the US version of the game!!
 
Go and play Guild Wars... its for free once you buy the game... :D

sorry for the derail but after all these silly WoW patches my affection for WoW has taken a nose dive...
 
Ho so though useless? have you only recently started playing MMO's (Not being funny actually asking honestly) I have not played a single one where there have not been patches (updated actually) like in WoW, Some release them slowly, ie: 15 megs a day over the whole week. Some do it all in one go. NONE have ever had no patchs. Even in GW it happens and as content changes you might have to "re-download" certain places.. granted not all of them at once, but that is the same as the above with releasing slowly.

Problem with that is that it very hard to toruble shoot which portion of the patch caused the problem. So almost all companies now release in one file. At leasts you know there is new content and basically a "new game" each time.

If you really think its bad now.. Try BETA test a MMO.. At times you have to download the ENTIRE client all over again (had to do that with Shadowbane 4 times.. on Dialup.. 800 megs), and every 4th day... they Wipe all your characters
 
I really do not mind if this turns into a fist fight over which is best, but before the real fighting starts can someone please just answer the question!!!
 
I was over in the UK in May and picked up a copy. I used the 30 day free trail then just signed up with my credit card. No issues as yet.

When you fill in your details you get a few payment options. Choose the one most suited to you. Game Cards are more expensive I heard. I used the credit card option. The first month is free and once that expires you can either continue with the payed account or cancel.

LOL sorry bro.. Which server you thinking of playing on?
 
Regardless of whether it's World of Warcraft or Guild Wars, I wouldn't suggest playing on an adsl conenction, rather contact someone like nukecap for a vpn account.
 
Do not really know!! I got the key from gamersloot.net just now, have an unshaped account from webafrica so will go and try to setup an account tonight. Any advice on the setup of the account, and any servers you can recommend will be great!!

There are South Africans on almost ALL the servers :) Though before you just join I would check which server has the best ping. Not sure if anyone has done it yet and i'm guessing they have.

We are all over.. Imagine if we had decent ADSL with low pings. Seriously though I wish I had done this first.. Check you ping to the server first.! Also check the time zone of the server. Nothing worse than having to log in at 3:00 am to find anyone on. And that goes both ways.. there might be 60 south africans playing horde on one server.. doesn't help you JACK if there are no Alliance on at that time to kill.. it gets boring
 
I have setup my account without any problems and played for about 4 hours and I must say is been fun. I was just wondering what kind of ping I must expect. I have played using must normal 30 GB webafrica account and get about 1300 up to 1600. With my unshaped account also from webafrica I get from 750 up to 1400. I have forwarded the ports and everything; I just think the pings from the unshaped account are very bad. I have the 1024 DSL line so????

Bellou, what server you playing on?

pings are bad on shaped... real bad I have had many occasions where my ping has been 20K-30K ms. Using the nukecap VPN solution I get between 400 and 900ms. I have not used an unshaped account so I can't comment on that.

WoW is playable at anything up to 1500ms (but I would not sugest playing with that latency). Packetloss is the important issue, I have had times when my latency is 600ms (without the VPN solution) but things jump all over the place (eg. chasing someone, next thing they are way out of you range to the right of left and you did not even see them turn).

Paladin level 4
Still running around the Abby to get some XP. How do I find the Guilds???
I did not experience any packet loss on either account.
