But seriously. I have a WoW blog (not updated in a while, bleh). I raid MH/BT/SSC 3, 4 times a week.
Last weekend I went quadbiking through the bush for 3 days. This weekend I'm going camping in the desert followed by a spot of birding. Weekend thereafter, bass fishing. In August I have a possible hunting trip lined up.
I probably have more of an outdoorsy life than the lani Sandtonfag who posted that BS.
Stupid assumptions like "o lul joo playe WOW u haf no lyfe" are exactly that. Dumbshiat, stupid baseless crap.

I recently killed my blog after I got a traffic warning from the ISP. Ah well, didn't really bother updating it that often.

Damn, really? and it never occurred to you to sell advertising to make up for the costs and write more often?
 
Yeah, I'm fortunate enough to live about an hour's drive away from an amazing, quiet little dam with great bigmouthed bass population.
Went tigerfishing up north in December, although i failed at it :( I blame crappy weather (drizzling/light rain = no luck)
Totally going to plan a trip up the Skeleton Coast sometime in October (getting the permits is a pain) and catch me something that's actually edible.
Fishing irl > fishing in wow by like a million billion percent.

Sheesh, epic derailment :D

Friday = derailment ftw

The best (beats killing Illidan, KJ, Kael and Vashj all together at the same time) is waking up at 4am, getting to the lake by 5am, and fishing as the sun rises... then chilling with friends fishing all day till the sun sets :rolleyes:

I think my problem was basing my blog on South African WoW players :P I had advertising running on it, but it generated next to no money.

At one point I think I was below the 150 mark ranking on Amatomu and I was updating it regularly. I even had a forum up and running.

In the end, the costs to run it just didn't warrant me keeping it up there. Was kinda sad to let it go :<
 
Yeah, look, the only South Africans making money off the internet are Telkom and ISP's.

Yeah. I'm currently peeling like an onion. Hate it. Look like a lizard. /sigh.
Bah, east wind is acting up badly so my camping trip is off. Probably just gonna go out to the range tomorrow/sunday and shoot stuff. I still need to see if my fixed .38 works now. Firing pin was too short. either that or set up my soon-to-be acquired new 350L OScar tank.
Yeesh, I've got so many hobbies lately it's ridiculous. Trying to find time to play WoW (which I still love) is becoming a real problem.
