This is a first in SA history (for me)

I bought Metro 2033 from Kalahari.net. Received the package today and I see a sticker on the cover say "Free Red Faction Guerrilla". I thought.. yea.. right. You have to post x to USA to get a download copy etc...

Open the package, there is the RFG Dvd with it. Doesn't look a demo (has key code printed on it).

I already have RFG, but this is a first for all the time I ever bought games.

I also own RF:G, and love it - but if I'd known the Metro 2033 has BOTH?!

Damn - are you sure that's how it's supposed to work? That awesome!

I kid you not. I'm here sitting with both the dvds in my hand. Can't see that it's a demo (on it is printed, "Manual on dvd" with key). You don't get a dvd cover for RFG, the dvd is INSIDE the Metro 2033 case.

WACK!!!

Yip its true, but only for PC version. It was a pre-order stunt by THQ as far as I know. But if you got it even now then I guess you are lucky.

It was like that on steam also
No argument from me.. but with digital sales it's eas(ier) to get something extra for free (I have seen steam do it with other games).

But I never expected to buy it (a physcial copy), and then get a game with. I remember my ATI Radeon card had a HL 2 sticker on it.. but was only for USA.

Looks like a win-win :D

Yo man. I made a post earlier about this game. I didn't get a serial key with mine. How is that? I have the same one as you and I also got the free game with it. Where did you find your cd key? Maybe I'm not looking in the right place, but I've looked at and inside the case more than 20 times now

Ja, it also surprized me.

The CD key is printed/stickered on the back of the user guide.

Not mine. I did check. Did I mention that the version I bought comes with Steam. Before installing the game, it installs Steam first, then it prompts me for a cd key within a Steam window/prompt. I hate Steam  I emailed them with photos of my game case and everything so hopefully they'll send me a cd key

This is not Steam's problem, it's the supplier/distributer's problem. Take it back where you bought it from and explain to them.
