Don't trust those videos Pooky. Gears looks better in person What's even more impressive is the gameplay, it's absolutely awesome. Even with Halo, OB and CoD4 some guys are still rather playing Gears (because it's not n FPS I guess)

If you're looking for eye candy to show of the 360 I recommend - Gears, DiRT, PGR4, Halo 3, Assassins Creed, Mass Effect & CoD4.

Not impressed with assassins creed - very repititive gameplay - for value and extreme fun and incredible multiplayer COD4 - GOW was great but COD4 beats them all hands down.
For cheap games, gamers exchange in Edenvale - you will pick up a traded GOW I bet for about R250 or so and if you live elsewhere they will ship to you and I is not affilialed with dem dudes just use them often!!!
