Bring on DK already. Srsly. I can not wait any longer. I need to hit things with a big 2hander and could be buggered levelling up a warrior or pally to do it.

Eh, your going to get fanatics on both sides, y'know. I like WAR a lot. I used to like WoW a lot, too, and realised I was acting the same way with my new WAR infatuation, as when i was a WoW diehard. When the WotLK patch hits, I will probably like WoW again. I don't have an axe to grind, just having fun with whatever's fun right now. But it *is* always funny to see WoW fans fly off the handle so readily. Funnier still when I realsie I was exactly like that jsut a few months ago.
Does WAR have problems? Sure. And frankly I don't care any more, I'm having fun with it. Honestly, that should be all that matters, and if WoW is rocking your boat, that's great. We should all probably learn to live and let live.
Unfortunately yes, you are going to get some fans of NewGameX that might try and poach people from OldGameY because NewGameX is still a little sparse. If I could offer Boom any advise though, it would simply be to reroll on a higher pop server. A lot of the frustration will dissappear if you were to roll on Karak-Hirn, man. Put aside any old grudges and use it as an opportunity to try a new class, the game is still fresh, and Hirn is full of SA people. Plus Core is nothing like WoW's PVE servers, there's still craptons of world PVP going on, I've been in keep sieges almost every second night, and the scenario queue times are golden, and I have yet to experience a login queue.
Once you're on a good server with lots of people to group with, a lot of the apprehension and frustration dissappears, and you stop caring about WoW and preaching to/converting the Azeroth crowd. Although it's still fun to drop around the forums and pick apart silly 'WAR sucks' comments.

Dude i am on Sea of Dream server High pop on both sides now.
Had a blast last nigth on vent we took tier 2 fortres :).
and i am lvling with real live friend also ex wow player.

Dont believe the WOW worshippers.Theyll get tired of wow MAYBE AFTER THEY FINISHED THERE 30 DAYS FREE.INTERNET CONNECTION IS REQUIRED
 
That may be, but nobody likes a bible thumper. Except, well, other bible thumpers. I guess.
Maybe dial down the rhetoric a tad.

and btw my 30 day free account expired about 4 years ago.

Actually my girl friend plays more than i do, i generally tend to do out door related activities.

Boomrooker it requires tact if you are trying to convert someone to even take a look at the game you are so idolizing , clearly you do not have tact with your otherwise very lambasting remarks towards religious beliefs and other peoples preferences, thankfully i nor alot of people here don't actually care what you think about WoW, i certainly don't and i wont ever. So this thread should just be closed. And instead of going on and on and on about how wow sucks, and war is better stick to your thread about war?

Correct me if I'm wrong, but WAR doens't have 1 million users after what? a month out?

If I am correct, WoW had about 1-2 million people within the first month.

WAR shall fail... eventually.

Lmao, the father of Modern day MMorpg's ? WOW wouldn't exist if it wasn't for the likes of UO,AO,Daoc,Everquest.....and many others,hell Blizzard wouldn't even exist if there weren't other developers to copy games from:rolleyes:
