WOW: Horde vs Alliance

I'm a newbie to World of Warcraft and was wondering which way to go. I'm told the Horde is full of sadistic psychopaths and the Alliance, prissies and kids. Help me out here. Which do i chose.:confused:

Depends on the servers. Some servers have about 80% horde and 20% alliance on the server i'm currently playing it's about 50 50 so it's all up to you really. Once you hit about lvl 20 + you'll be all over the worlds so it doesn't really make a difference. I play Alliance BTW.

Alliance FTW !
 
I played on a PvP server and got fed up with dying from Horde players with lower latency. I'm on a Normal server now where they are just another race.
 
I personally see no use in playing PVE.

PvP is where the real action is. It so nice to run into a horde player in the middle of a quest and winning.

On the other side it's a drag when u run into a Horde player or group and get Pwned. To make it worst some even camp your body :D

But it's good fun and keep you on your toes.
 
I played Silvermoon US with my 60 Mage on PvE.. was good, but I moved over to Ursin PvP US and made a (31) Priest cause I wanted some PvP action..

Then I moved to EU cause of raid times, now playing Shattered Halls EU (PvP) also a Priest.. 49 Priest now.
 
I play horde, but to be honest with you both sides have their bungholes. There is no real difference between the type of players between the factions, despite what everyone says.

My advice would be to choose a toon that you would like to play. No doubt you would be looking at it for months, so might as well be happy with it.
 
i agree with dakeyras. If you want to play with other SA guys and gals you should consider a side. For example on the euro server Ahn Qiraj most SA players are horde.....
 
I have friends who have characters on different servers. They play their horde char, take a break for rest xp and switch to their Ally char.

I thoroughly enjoyed my undead priest on a PvP server even though I got ganked countless times.

Decide on a side, find out around here what servers all us SA'ffers are on and then make a choice.

I am going to meet Pitbull tonight even though I have never met him before (It was your post on MOER my kids, that sold it for me Pit).

The game is great on both sides I reckon.

Nice meeting up with another MYADSL player on WoW. Nice having a chat while lvl'ng. and C. Alliance is not that bad :cool:

Add 'Varkore' to your list. On most evenings between 8 - 10pm (actually midnight, but don't tell the wife!)
