Hey guys

Anyone get massive lag spikes when zoning into areas and major cities since 4.0.1? :(

Same old story, a new patch followed by massive lag and disconnects.

Just /sit /popcorn and wait for the dust to settle! :D

Yes we have diegoa. Mweb has had some issues with the lag also, if your on mweb that is.

Addons were my problem, try disabling them all and testing how laggy it is?

I am on iBurst at the moment. I did a change to my MTU, I set it from 1392 down to 1000 and it seems to fixed the issue for now :)

If you are using Mweb for sure, use another ISP provider problem solved.

A number of ISP's had the lag issue. Even the ever trustworthy Webafrica had severe lag for about a week (I even had to buy a prepaid Afrihost account). Seems all better now, though it does seem that my average latency has gone up from 280 to 360...

Addons seem to have a huge impact on zoning! I have also disabled the most and it is way better now!

No. No problems, except Dalaran, but then I have always had bad fps in Dalaran before the patch .

Strange.. I play with a telkom account and nothing wrong at all :) Its only when i use the mweb one where the problem starts with latency.

Yea don't know what the problem is/was, not everyone was affected. But for me the latency was horrific and 22k ms spikes were quite regular!

I'm getting initial spikes upon login. Spikes to about 1.2k then goes down to 260 after a few minutes. And I'm on mweb.

Four ISP connections. My router shows a sync of 3.4mbps on all of them and I still have horrible latency (600ms on a good day otherwise 850 on an average day and 17309ms on a bad day). Tried playing on my leave (during business hours) and it's a complete f^ck up...maybe it's a sign to move on.

You do realize that your sync of 3.4mbps have nothing to do with the ISP's. Your line is just **** if you can't sync @ full speed.

well mine syncs at 4096 but only gives me a 3.3 mbps download speed on speedtest that is due to my ISP

I use my own tunnel with afrihost and i get 230-280 ms.. constant. i do however get dc whenever i travel from continent to continent
