How does the QoS option, when on or off, affect the game? Will it have any negative effect? Ive read having it enabled reserves up to 30% bandwidth. I'm on a wireless network and would like to know if I should rather leave this option enabled or switch it off. Thanks

it should only affect downloads, but mostly only things that reach 70% of your network card's capacity. Thus generally this wont affect adsl connections because adsl is too little of that to be affected.

However turning it of saves cpu cycles.

If you are 2 people playing on a measly 384 line, both in 25 man raids, then you may want to turn this on to prevent ventrilo or team-speak from consuming too much bandwidth.
Otherwise, turn it on if you want to run downloads at the same time as playing on a 4MB line.

Otherwise, having it on will only consume processing power.

I assume you're talking about the QoS option on your wireless router?

I'm not aware of any setting for QoS in WoW, other than "Throttle Background Downloads" from the downloader settings with regards to pre-downloading patches.
