WOTLK pwned WoW,,, so boring i cant even stand to play the game anymore,,, my opinion but omg!

Agreed. Its really FUN for the first few weeks of playing, then I just tend to get over the game.
I'm gonna try WoTLK though...

I also agree. I'm growing pretty bored of WoW already. I've already completed the majority of my achievements on multiple alts. A lot of guilds on my server have pretty much finished the new raids, so my enthusiam is dying.

There is your problem. I call burn out.

well its does get boring if you are wowhoring it, why i alternate between wow and other things like life ;)

I'm having a blast still.

What you guys are complaining about is the massige grind to 80. For me the cure is simple:

1. When I get borred I log my shaman and run getting Herbs and while doing that I claim the Explorer achievement for every section of the map.
2. I roll a class I have never played before and level that. I have been doing so since I started and already have 3x 70+'s

I got so sick of grinding over the weekend so I decided to level my Paladin that has been on hold for ages.

I think for the time being I'll level this Pala for tanking and it will be my next level 70 to go to Northrend. My Lock project is already level 72 almost 73. When I'm tired of the Pala I'll level my Lock again and rotate it to keep me busy :)

Tankadin is now level 20 and just got my AoE :p So now the fun starts

Life? Whats that? New RPG? :p

I'm enjoying WotLK a lot tbh :D Starting guild raids tonight...hope it all goes well as it will be the first for the guild in WotLK.

Only thing I hate is the farming to level profs :p

WoW will be boring to some, but I am still having a blast clearing Naxx 25! And yes it is a very easy instance, but so should a first raid dungeon be ;)
The 25 man in Ulduar planned for the next patch will be a jump in difficulty so gearing up in Naxx now is a good thing.
Oh and before you jump on the bandwagon and say how easy raiding is, maybe try it first? It is really easy for established guilds that have raided together for ages, and know the tactics from Naxx 40 days. Our guild cleared Sunwell before the expansion and it still took a few wipes to clear some bosses (note most of us also cleared Naxx 40 back in the days).

I do however find Heroics a bit on the easy side, completing a few of these before a raid is quite common at the moment. They simply are too easy. I wonder if Blizzard really intended that one can finish ALL the end game content within one week (including most rep grinds). Something is wrong and they will have to introduce a new level of play soon if they don't want to loose players. New BG loot have not even been introduced yet, and I am capped for honor...

You have to be kidding me!

That's what happens when you rush to 80 I guess.

I am at the absolute pinnacle of enjoyment with this game. Ever since I discovered howling Fjord I've been in love all over again. I never want to leave that place. The scenery is exactly the way WC should be and reminds me of what WC2 looked like. The towns, the construction, the harbours , the green hills and forests ... even the cliffs!

I did one quest chain where you turn into a Worgen wolf to talk to a wolf leader. I did all the quests and on the last one, I decided to abandon the quest. Unfortunately I lost the wolf suit as well. I PM'd a GM and he sent me a new one in the mail. I still didn't retake the quest, but I now have a wolf travel form on my rogue that is 80% speed increase and takes only a second to transform.

It's been the most awesome thing! Sure it only works in Howling Fjord, but man!!! It works in caves / indoors etc. so I move much faster ... and when used, none of the forest wolves attack me. I've been running all around HF like this the entire day ... and made alot of people VERY confused with my new Enhancement Rogue / Subtlety Shaman :D

Needless to say I'm going to keep it forever so that I can turn into travel form whenever I'm in HF again :D (I wonder if it will work inside Utgarde Keep)

Oh don't get me wrong the Scenery and quests are awesome. I am redoing all of them already with my Warrior ;)
Also have the wolf suit still, and run around a lot in it.

It is the endgame that requires a bit of thought still, I hope it is not finished in its current form. At least there are lots of quests left that I can do to keep myself occupied.

Wait till you get to Dragonblight!!!... I had so many OMFG Im living epic moments in Warcraft 3 :D

Take a break, and take it slow. I'm only level 72 and enjoying the PVE and soloing and running the occasional pug. I was, and am still, burnt out, but not on the game, just certain aspects, specifically the super serials "must get phat lewts must rade must increase epeen" aspect. After taking like a 3 month break from WoW, just questing and running the occasional instance and generally taking my time is refreshing. The quests and the world design of Northrend are the real reason I play now, not so much the must pwnzor joo on teh meters aspect. I'll probably start raiding at 80 to see the rest of the content too, but to hell with dps/healing meters and minmaxing and all that crap.

+1000, I oooh'd and ahhh'd at that cutscene they inserted.

I read every conversation in a quest chain.

I did find that leveling to 80 was easier than TBC / Classic and the instances are shorter but the variety is great. Flying dragons, controlling other monsters. There is so much to do still, I have a ton of areas to explore still, professions to level, alts to level, raiding etc.

I for one will not be bored for some time to come.

its not boring, they just made dungeons to easy thats all..... killed the need for CC so its just mindless nuking.... however questing has never been sooo much fun before.

I played for a few months but really didn't get into the game, this was over a year ago. I don't know, maybe gaming just isn't for me.

I could totally see why you guys enjoy playing it though

Ice Crown is just as awesome :D Can be more awesome if you have epic flying :p I don't so it took some time to get from one point to the other :o

They have some quests that give you scenes of the Lich King (like where he brought the Frost Wyrm to life and where he fought Ilidan).

Really interesting :D

because of work commitments i have been taking it EXTREMELY easy with wrath, i dinged 78 only last night.
I am taking my time and exploring everything i possibly can, which is the way it should be done.

In fact i have been concentrating way more on questing than running dungeons, i figure the xp is better and i will be able to do plenty dungeon runs when i hit 80 (because thats all that gets done really).

I'm not getting bored with the grinding at all, but that's probably because i only really play for 2-3 hours at a time.

Slightly off topic, even though i have played the warcraft series from WC1, i would like to read up on the storyline from then until now, does anyone have a website that gives a brief rundown of the storyline and major events leading up to wrath? (preferably one that doesnt reference a billion other events/names/lore books that have to be looked up individually to piece it all together).

There used to be the WoW encyclopedia on the wow site... what happened to that  Now that was an awesome read.

Now all there is, is wowwiki (dont get lost though :o)

I can't see how dungeon grinding is faster than questing. I leveled in 6 days with questing. There are people on our server who leveled within 48 hours to 80 by questing.

About the story line. Check WoWWiki :)
