So I dusted off my WoW beta testing CDs and thought about trying the game again.

After 2GBs of downloading I think I am fully patched up. Couldn't check as I had to get to work.

I tried to login to my account I bought from some dude in New York back in 2004 but for the life of me can't remember my login details or password.

Now I can't get them to resend my info since back then you couldn't change email addresses etc.

So now I'm trying to get a free 10 day trial before I buy the game or CD key. Stupid website won't work it keeps coming back with a 404. Not a good impression so far from the slackers at buzzard.

Anyone have a 10 day free trial key they are not using that they can spare. I would need it for the US servers. I am still only on the classic game and not the expansion.

How do you suggest I get a trial activation key without downloading another 2 GBs ?
 
the key is generated not downloaded:) register for a trial on there site and you are done.
 
Crabby I can send you a US trial key. I just need your email address. We would love you to join our guild! Lots of helpful SA players.

Balnazzar. Medium pop server. We raid regularly and generally help each other. Send me your in-game name so I can invite you.

had little time to log on - will try and find your tribe tonight.

Logged on an I joined Balnazzar - whats your user name online or someone else who can let me join the tribe.

OK - I suppose I have to buy both the original and the burning crusade cd keys to get the dark elves ?
 
The BLOOD ELVES you are referring to can only be played with on BC, they are grayed out when you only have the original WoW installed.

Son of a hoer another 1.2GB download.

Anyone in CT got BC on disk so I don't kill my cap midway through the month ?

If you got TBC with the original wow, you would only have had a 1.1GB download ;) I doubt you will need alot more downloading

Currently not playing as I have to dl the BC patch.

Started a char on Balnazzar but not that keen on a PvP server, prefer to choose my PvP fights.

Got onto Cairne 1st to see what WoW life was like after a 2 year break.

If you can suggest a PvE server with a saffer tribe I don't mind joining.
