WOW Updates backup

Can someone tell me how to go about backing up all the updates that WOW has downloaded.

I thought about this last night and would hate to have to re-download all of them again should I need to re-install.

Look in your wow folder on your pc, should be c:\world of warcraft. Everything will be in there (amongst other things)

i think the default install is c:\program files\world of warcraft

The thing about WOW is that you can just find a friend with an up-to-date version installed and visit his house with an external hard drive or a blank DVD.
It even works between macs and pcs which is great if you want to update more than one computer ie laptop and desktop, without blowing your cap.

I've found WoW works fine as a stand-alone copied folder (ie. move it to another drive). Thats another option.

Yep. You can copy the entire folder over. MUCH easier than re-installing the whole thing - that takes HOURS!
