WoW vs Work ...

I think VW's are crap too, but thats just my opinion.

I liked Titan Bar due to the fact that I could select the items I want to display and that it sat at the bottom of my screen which was out of the way.

I also use titan bar, but a lot of my guildies recommend using Fubar. Fubar is basicaly a ripof from titan (that is not been supported anymore) based on the addon package/script language of Ace2. Just google Ace2 and you will find a nice colection of addons all on the same scripting language = a lot less lag.

So why do I find Titan nice:
It gives you bag space count
Ammount of money count (without needing to open youd bags)
Earnings per hour counter
Experience bars (gives you an estimate how fast you will level, or the amount of exp you gain per hour)
Latency meter, FPS meter, etc
Damage meter addon plugin
Equipmant duration in %, so you know when to repair, also includes an estimate of what repair will cost.


Above addon is not essential in anyway and u can sure play without it, just is a lot more convenient :D

Addons I will not be able to play without.
Something to change your user interface, moveable buttons, scalable buttons etc
All-in-one bags or inventory, so much easier to work with bags
KLHTM threatmeter, for raids where aggro management is essential
ORA2 a raid addon compulsary requirement for my guilds raids
Decursive, once you get use to dispell/decurse using this you cant do without
Fastcast, playing from South Africa addons where cast time is reduced based on ping is godly


Graphical or addons I like to use for the game play feel
Pearl (party and raid interface)
EZcastbars (get rid of blizzards crappy cast bars),
Cryolisis (mage addon, fast food drink, portals, buffs, etc etc, sheep watch)
Auctioneer
Gatherer
 
As far as hacking is consurned, seems alot of the addon download sites have trojans or keyloggers inbedded in them. You then seems to get a trojan with your addon. The addons themself cannot acces your login details, blizzard have worked hard to prevent this... Addons also cant connect to the internet through wow, they need a standalone application for that, so recomment using a firewall and see what programs uses the internet and block the one you dont want to have acces, like microsoft products :D

Yea I used sit and plan strategies at work for raids :D and will prob do that again soon as we venture into new raid instances

Specially when using www.Thottbot.com as a quest guide :cool:

hehe oh yea, but Titan have a co-ord build in :D atleast the version I have

And more importanty, and have been mentioned before Atlas when you are starting off and want to do some instances. Atlas is just a collection of JPG's with the maps of the full instances that you can acces while in the instance so you dont get lost :D Unless your a lesser gender and cannot read maps /joke

I totally agree, men can't read maps.
 
I don't want to work at all ... just play all day would suit me fine!

Hmmmm ... I remember Pwnstar from when I played on Balnazzar.

just got an email from blizz .. the opened my account after 9 days.
So all i want to do is go home and log on.
Work ... damn gets in the way
 
Yeah, just got to work and want to go home again. Didn't play much last night as I was knackered after work ... Work really interferes with a good quality gaming life!
