Not sure if anyone knows about this or made a thread about this site but a friend referred me to it the other day and it has helped me lots in finding certain herbs,mining deposits,items,dungeons and other malicious stuff that i'm too lazy to look up.

It really helps, also if you install the wowhead client it helps you track quests that you have done / still needs to do in order to finish them / gain rep / achievements etc.

This site is the mecca for wow information. Some like Thottbot or WoWWiki also yet i find this site loaded with information that im looking for specifically like item scripts and future items. Also the comments seem more up to date than other sites you one can get alot of diverse info like 'is this item BoA' ect. For all PTR related information visit ptr.wowhead.com also.

Some other sites already mentioned - thottbot is basically the old version of wowhead (owned by the same people)

Many of wowwiki's contributors moved over to wowpedia.org since they had some beef with some new formatting that wikia enforced or something, currently wowpedia is kept much more up to date while wowwiki is barely touched (some of it's new content administrators even admired they hate wow apparently)
