I dont think he would be coding for anyone, he was purely a hardware man, designing physical hardware, and technically he is still working.

Even if you consult people its work last time I checked.

Important point to note that he mentioned the iPhone is still his primary device.

Overall the reports on ICS are very positive i.e. many of the gripes with Android are reported to be resolved e.g. lag, interface inconsistency, ...
I'd also agree in many ways ICS has taken Android ahead of iOS and Apple now has some catching up to do. The problem however is that only a limited few of today's Android users will be able to enjoy ICS without replacing their devices (fragmentation being the primary issue)
