Wrong ID number

Good day

When I was creating my rain account I mistakenly used the wrong ID number and when I try to change it I can't change it can you please help me with changing my the ID number

Go to home affairs. Find your nearest one. Take about R800 with you. Make sure you have at least 2 full days to spare. Home affairs will resist changing your ID number and it will be a ball/tit ache of note... but way easier than getting Rain to help.

Why do people keep mistyping? A checksum would fix that.

Why do people use other people's ID numbers to sign up? What does it achieve?

Or they use their mothers ID, somehow thinking it's their own... as if the first 2 digits are not a big giveaway,
