Wrongly Throttled on Axxess

Hi All

Is anybody else having this problem with their uncapped express + (Fibre) 512kb account's speed.

I understood that during the first 10 days of the month (1st to 10th) I will get throttled between 8:00 till 20:00 if I exceed 10GB. But at the end of the 10 days I will go back to full speed for another 10GB for the next 10 days i.e. 11th to 20th of the month. Again I get throttled after using the 10GB. Same excercise for the last 10 days of the month.

But when I checked my speed today I remained throttled through-out the day.

Did I understand incorrectly or am I right that I should be back to full speed for atleast 10 GB?

If there is a rep on the forum, could he answer this?

Lets explain Using term notation

1st day - 1gig
2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10 you use a gig everyday and total is 10gig
therefore you will be throttled but after the 10th day the first days usage cancels out and therefore you used 9gig.

let say you used nothing on day 11th therefore day 2 cancels off and you usage is 8gig

lets say on the 12th day you use 2gig and total usage will be 10gig and will again be throttled..

therefore the usage is determine between the 10days of being throttled..

So in other words I will never be at full speed again in the weekday 8 to 8 block.... Oh, well. I can live with that, now that I understand.

When you think of it, in theory you were uncapped on dial-up. South Africa seems to have avoided uncapped being paying a fixed amount for downloading at the line speed 24/7.

These type of shops overseas are constantly being shown up. It seems to me they are even worse than the offers that offer 1GB per day.
