WTF am I paying for RAIN?

Just arrived back from holiday to this sorry excuse for 5G premium. I'm ****ing done!

Hi @PAYBACK

Please note that i will look into the matter

So today I find out that there's a closer tower to me, 800m as opposed to 1.2km. Turns out I have been connecting to this tower and it might explain the even worsening situation. RSRP and SINR as gone to the dogs. Fun and games.

Ok so turns out new tower in area is a 4G tower. My router; assuming because I'm closer, keeps connecting to this 4G tower hence worsening situation. Despite trying to lock onto my old 5G tower via Cell lock and PCI number.

Runner/Tech that pitched up at my house knows how oversaturated the area just went through the usually motions which I have done at least 20+ times with them already and is just a waste of my ****ing time.

Will be exploring legal action tomorrow.

This is the type of **** that Telkom used to pull on me, and my god that **** still haunts me to this day. Needless to say they've lost me as a customer
I was huge advocate for RAIN 5G when it launched and was pretty proactive here with regards to trying to help with setup in the early days. The speeds spoke for themselves. One would think network would improve over time. It hasn't. Recent MyBB average ISP speeds article is proof of that. One would expect that with introduction of "5G" to their product line to up average speeds would improve.

More "Premium" 5G from RAIN. Beyond joke now. Rest assured I have been logging these fluctuations which come NOWHERE near close to your definition of "ULTRA 5G"; which conveniently does not have a speed linked to it, and is more like a standard package if that. Yet RAIN has continued to bill me R999 per month.

It's also funny how RAIN's website has changed. 2 years ago 5G was touted as being able to do anything and everything. Today a shell of its former self where they dare not imply anything for fear of backlash from its customers.

Working in the UK currently and although fiber pretty much the norm 5G making some inroads. The difference is night and day!
