WTF - Base Station 12

I think the green stuff they sell near Mintek is wafting into the transmitters. About a 2 weeks ago, I bombed an external antenna outside my office pointing directly towards Mintek (Line of site from Randpark Ridge - Mintek. My signal went from a wonky 11% to a wopping steady 38% ). Today the signal has dropped quite dramatically. Not sure what it is, as I'm busy pulling in some wicked tunes from DC++, and I don't want to disconnect, but the little number on my desktop only has 3 yellow dots, which probably relates to about 10%. But now the weird thing.......The NET is flying...

This whole Sentech jol is bloody addictive....

where is mintek tower exactly? I'm on top of the hill next to golf club terrace above hyperama, i was under the impression the tower wasn't up yet

I get 30% signal from there WITHOUT an antenna.... would be sweet if I can boost that to get some decent stable pings on UT2004

i hate playing against guys with 22ms pings!

It's that ugly beige bulding on Hans Strijdom, near the H&R and News Cafe. It's got that red water tower next to it. Between Republic and Oxford.

hey hey

i also connect to base station 12 and im getting disconnected really often over the last 2 days. like once every 2 hours [] . i get 20% signal so there should be no problem. All it says is "the remote computers hardware cannot identify yours" . Hope it gets fixed soon[}]

I connect to base station 2, 17% signal, have'nt been disconnected for a week. Rather I have'nt ever been disconnected by sentech only by myself.
