WTF Blizz what about the other proffessions.

Why does Blizz favour JC so much, its sickening. Only proffesion who get daily quests, where by they complete a stupid easy quest then take the daily token thingy buy a dragons eye and get 350g for it. Only damn proffesion when you can use HP and rewards to buy better designs. Nothing for leatherworking, got a grand total of 2 epic leather items I can make.
 
yeah but until then all other proffesions suck besides mining. They should really make more lw designs for leatherworkers even if its bop, I am sure its the same for other crafters too.

As a Raider I can't really afford to sell mine sadly.

I'm still doing the Shatt cooking and fishing dailies too for some Fishing gear and the last 2 recipes I need for the Outland Gourmet achievement.

Theres not enough Northern Spice in Northrend to fix a rogue & I got enough for my raiding foods. cant say that I raid every night though mainly vault and OS for the week and naxx on the weekends.
 
Somethings you don't know

What you can buy with JC tokens:
1 token = Dragon's eye
2 tokens = Prismatic gem recipe (BOP prismatic gem)
3 tokens = Rare gem recipe
4 tokens = BOE Rare ring or necklace recipe
5 tokens = Meta gem recipe
6 tokens = BOE Epic neck or ring recipe (requires 4 dragon eyes) (6x recipes = 36 days of dailies to get them all)

The only people that can really use these are JC's themselves and the occasional person gearing his up his character/alt for the first time (getting a BOW ring/neck crafted). So its not like they sell everyday either. Prospecting is crap since I usually on average get 1 rare per stack of saronite, but it depends which rare I get. If its green gem I get 9g (loss of ~20 gold) for it and if its red gem I can get up to 150g (profit of 160 gold). At 40g per stack of Saronite I sometimes make profit but sometimes lose profit, its a real gamble. Common gems usually sell for 2-3g for a cut gem, that's if they sell at all. I usually vendor them cut now, since I get at least some gold back. The only way to make gold with a JC is to cut gems and resell them, but majority of the time you'll get uncut gems on AH for more than cut gems. So no making any profit there either.

In contrast my friend on his hunter makes 700-1000 gold in an hour, mining and skinning with his AOE tanking gorilla and he can do that for 8 hours (5600 gold - 8000 gold) if he wanted to.

I would love JC to be like enchanting or tailoring for example.

All the recepies you learn at trainer, short of "materials", no worries, just grind an instance or something.

JC on the other hand we do a daily and get....wait for it..... 1 bloody token. Takes us 6 days to get a good design. To craft an earthguard ring, I need to do dailies for 4 days to get 4 "eyes".

JC atm is the worst profession there is, takes way to long to either learn designs, or you can be a useless JC and sell all ur "eyes" for "profit".

Exactly, not sure why theres so much QQ going around...

Can i start whining that I cant sell the Eng bike for 15k gp when the mats themselves are 12k if I create my own titansteel

My arugment still stands wheres the lw/bs/eng/ etc dailies?, Why cant other proffesions buy high lvl designs with tokens? You know what high lvl LW gets you 4 boe epics, thats all. Not like with TBC you could make 3 bop items + a *** load of boe, and designs used to drop in raids, etc. Not anymore, its sad.
 
Wow I don't know how people can whine so much. I've got mining and jewelcrafting and can make a few thousand gold a day very easily. I've got almost every JC design in the game (I didn't take the epic designs, I bought what I needed from other JC's), and I make a hell of alot of gold prospecting my saronite and cutting gems.

There is nothing wrong with JC at all. People are just so quick to believe anything the hear.
 
Even just having Mining u can make a killing. I keep a stockpile of about 100+ Saronite in the bank at all times for emergency prospecting if i'm low on gems.
