Okay, I have to admit, I'm scared.

President and Ministers resigning left and right, CPIX at maximum for August, car reposessions up to its highest levels ever, and the public indifferent to requests for tightening the belts / cutting off excess fat.

Not to mention toi-toiying at 2010 stadia and schools & libraries increasingly being torched.

It really looks like SA is crashing and burning.

Am I just overreacting or should I heed to these red warning lights?

*** Edit: Side note: I cannot access any News-related sites from Europe right now. They are all timing out. Seems the SA public is really hammering those website servers now...
News24, IOL, and a couple others all timing out...

Do you have a spare room for me there in Europe mate ?

Just take a deep breath, take a step back and stay calm.

This was expected - that Thabo's people would follow him. Let's just see what happens from here.

There will be some transition period, it is not as if everyone just leaves immediately. With a change in governments, this happens a lot in countries all around the world.

If I stay here, which seems to be the better choice now by the looks of things, I might find space for you too...

hehe

But to be honest, looks like the massive bomb scare is over now. Markets are getting back to normal :)

I can now exhale and breath again :p

But we all saw this happening right?
Why the big shock?

Trevor leaving was a massive shock. Some of my shares went down 15-18% in a few minutes

But it is getting back to normal now ;)

Now we can hold on and hope for some fantastic developments, I think we'll hear of it soon enough :)

Ok lol... cross your fingers, theyll go soon!:)

I think the balance will be restored in the force once they are gone. ATM it's leaning towards the dark side :(

Skinner, I thought you'd he happy at all these developments here. I honestly and truly thought this would make your day.

Yes and no.
Yes because the Rand went for a heap of cr*p, meaning my Euros just exploded in value.
No because my chances of making a successful re-entry into SA diminished... however, having more Rands (see above) MAY compensate for this.

We'll see.
