WTF is going on with Digiserv Shared Hosting?!

I know my signature has endorsed these guys for as long as I've been with them (going on 6 years), but the last 24 hours access to DigiServ shared hosting have been up and down.

Obviously I can't email or log a fault, because their web site is also down.

Last night they said they updated software on their NIC and all was fine till about mid day today. Since 12ish, its been down, going on 5 hours.

They're at the MTN data center in Cape Town.

Anybody know whats going on?

Don't they have a contact number you can reach them at? Their site is down for me on CellC as well.

I think I remember seeing a number on their site. I think it could be an MTN thing, my phone's 3g doesn't work . Digiserv's servers are in the MTN data center in Cape Town. .just putting 2 and 2 together.

Just called 010 500 4700. Got an automated voice saying the line is busy. :-(

Yes. Must have been a dark night for them. They're going to release a formal report later of what went wrong. I mentioned previously I had no 3g coverage, well it go worse late last night when I had no signal. Usually I have full bars where I stay.

Will be very interesting to read the report later. Will keep you posted.
