WTF - IS international down again!!!!

Is it just me or has the international link for IS just gone down AGAIN!!!!

I just had it now with IS. They have been shocking this month.

We must demand them to come out and give an explanation of what the hell is going on. This can not go on like this!!!
 
Get in line. UUNet has been about the same this month. UUNet has been blaming Telkom, which is also a favorite for IS to blame.
 
In SA? An ISP that a) Knows what they are doing b) Gives a stuff about what they are doing ?

Has it occurred to anyone that Telkom may be behind this? The control the SAIX peering link and they own the IPC link.

There peering to SAIX was toasted nicely for around 4 or 5 days and they have had a few little issues on the uptime side. This is from a hosting Jhb perspective though so the UUNet ADSL users maybe have different expierences?

No, this is IS's sattelite link, their other stuff is 100% fine through all of this, only the ISDSL customers suffer.
 
If they were really cool and stuff they would lay their own SAT cable. But that is mega $$. Sigh.
