Hi guys! I just want to find out if I'm the only one that feels like this....

My Vox/Frogfoot fiber is goes down multiple times a day... I think the almost year that I've had it, I got 4 outage emails and only after everything has been restore! This morning my service down again for about 4 hours now... Not one alert from the app or notification on Vox's website.
Frogfoot shows an outage in Cape town which I assume affects us here in Mossel Bay.
Almost the whole town is with Frogfoot, so whenever myself or one of my friends go down (2-4 times a day), we all do at the same time... But when you phone it in, Vox always spin the same story about just rebooting your router etc. They never admit to there being an issue and it is always isolated to a user according to them... So the only way to prove this is for all of us to have to log tickets at the same time.... Vox has truly slipped from being a great ISP to not even being average!

Please excuse the spelling mistake in the subject, I can't seem to edit/fix it.

It is bad. Frogfoot been down since 5am this morning in Cape Town. I am in Milnerton.

When it comes to Vox, piss-poor service is par for the course. I think Telkom is actually better, and that's a truly damning statement.

Frogfoot is not stable to put it mildly, coupled with Vox support ... no comment.

You could/should move ISPs but it's likely Frogfoot that it is the main issue.

Afrihost (i.e. @AfriNatic) are good with getting to the truth of what is happening.. but whether or not FF fix is another story.

True. 5.5 hours outage this AM due to switch failure @ Teraco. Their offices are in Mowbray, Ten minute Drive to Teraco. Where is the NOC where is the NOC?!!

NO pride in their network. You can only say this in Afrikaans. Hulle is K@K sleg.

Just as I am debating on whether to move to Vox or Cool Ideas from Supersonic as I now have fibre from Frogfoot this comes up........

Yeah FF has had it pretty bad of late with their core upgrade. I imagine stability should start to improve.

Got ftth with Vox and Frogfoot after using rain 5g for about 6 months. Only issue with rain was the lack of port forwarding and a smtp mail server, but in that time there were only 2 outages.

Vox/Ff Is off almost daily. Mostly just a few minutes at a time, but still annoying.

After issues with their announced speed increase earlier this year I had the misfortune of having to deal with their customer service department. Worst experience ever. Would not recommend them to my worst enemy.

Thanks for confirming that my switch to fibre will include a switch to Herotel as my isp, and not from my current vox pure dsl to vox / frogfoot fibre.
Vox dsl has been great over the years, but their support and communication is pitiful.
So long, soon, vox.

Just to strengthen my point. My Vox/FF connection has been up and down since 9 this morning. At least they are sending updates on the problem today, even if it is just that FF technicians are looking at the problem. I'm getting the same vibes I got years go with Crystal Web.
