WTF is up with web browsing?

For the past 3 or 4 days, my HTTP has been extremely erratic. I don't think it's a general connection issue, since I will be unable to connect to any web-sites, but I can still play WoW without interruptions and MSN or BitTorrent doesn't even acknowledge the disconnect. Has anyone else had any issues? I've shut down my firewall, which didn't help except to make me feel naked. I'm on a SAIX unshaped account. Anyone? Any clues?

I'd be curious who your ISP is - I've had the same things for about a week now - just intermittent problems. Mostly it seems the DNS just vanishes - well that is what my xbox says, and when I get to pc, no sites resolve except for a very small few. Weird .. oh well - it'll pass I am sure.
