WTF Multichoice...

Last night, DSTV goes off, no signal, scanning, no signal, im in a complex, try to phone Multichoice, Network Busy, use a landline to phone, busy tone, try to ROUTE my call via 1023, ALL MULTICHOICE NUMBERS INVALID.

Why the hell would I all of a sudden get no signal?


Anyone else in this same mess? And WTF is their call center?!

Sunninghill here, dude I have NO idea, what pisses me off is the fact that DSTV is completely unreachable.

Sounds like the problem is with the installation. Used to get that a lot at my new complex, water getting in the switches and other anomalies. Sorted now with proper switch box sealing.

Also had that a while back, turned out the LNB was faulty.
Thanks to eskom a power spike blew my side of the Dual LNB, Signal would come and go but my neighbour was 100% fine all the time.

Must be the LNB or your dish has shifted.

Contact the body corporate. This is definitely an installation issue. Nothing to do with MC.
