Ok. Well. Up until now I've never had a problem with Iburst. We've had the 3gig account for almost 3 years now. Up until this month we have been getting 3gigs. Well, my account ran out of cap early on this month, which I didn't think too much of. Around the 10th if I remember correctly. I've been happily throttled to 64k since then. Its enough to play games so I was happy.

I got fed up with it this afternoon and decided to buy some more cap. It gave me the "Sorry, our stuff isn't working, please try again later". So right now I manage to log in and to my horror this is what I found:

Your data usage for this month
Description Data (MB)
Downloaded 783 MB
Uploaded 1674 MB
Total 2457 MB

It's a 3gig account. No wonder I ran out early this month! WTF?!!

Rep please help me sort this out.

The amounts are the other way around, we were told it should be repaired by the 1st of September.

He uploaded 783 MB and Downloaded 1674 MB.

As the others have asked - firewall enabled, and up to date antivirus installed?

Do you control bandwidth consumed, or is there no control over the use of bandwidth?

I would not be to worried about this being a Security Breatch
This is something that seems to have happened to all the iBurst users.

I also saw the strange stats. Before the iBurst upgrade of the new bandwith system I had about 200 mb left on my cap. When it was working I had no used stats whatsoever but I did have about 170mb remaining. Now my stats also looks like that even if I did use 3.3 gigs before the upgrade.

I do not think you need to be concerned I think this will be back to normal when we get our net cap on the 1st of September. However before you log in to view your cap on the website. They have a notice of the change and ask users to call a telephone number if any problems is experienced. Give them a call if you are concerned. But I dont think you need to panic.

As emptyshadow indicates ..... DO NOT PANIC......

Realised upgrade issues which will be resolved soon.
