Do the educated users on MyBB forum watch and follow WWE wrestling. I think that's it the worst crap ever and just cannot understand how people can watch that ****e. Those that do watch it, do you actually believe that it's real.
 
Everyone knows that its scriped and entertainment.
At times there are cool fights to watch.
Suppose its stuck with me as I was fascinated by it as a kid.

Not very proactive in following it to the last detail. But if I'm laying infront of a TV channel surfing and happen to chance upon it, I'll watch it.

But if you know it's scripted, how can you still watch it. Do you actually find it entertaining. I tried watching it a few times but really get irritated by it. And it's even worse when the females are "fighting".

There are only certain fights that I'd actually care to watch.
Big Show's cool, cos he just man handles everyone around.
I kind of respected CM Punk when he was calling out Vince McMahon on his kuk business and firing other wrestlers and leaving with the championship. But then he came back - and things seem like they're overally scripted again.

Ja, some of the fights are fun to watch, for me anyway.

Got a colleague who is a die hard fan. T-shirts and sh*t to this day.

Scripted like everything else you watch on TV? I don't watch it at all but if people can watch a "reality" show about the Cardasians then there can't be too much wrong with people watching wrestling.
 
No doubt these WWE guys are great athletes but we all know it is fake and scripted. I can still see why some people find it entertaining. I found it entertaining as a laaitie but not anymore.

This is a discussion all on its own, but Brock Lesnar tried his hand at MMA with UFC and retired after 8 fights. It is a totally different game because those punches and kicks and chokes are for real!

Lesnar got his ass handed to him yesterday against Alistair Overeem and retired immediately after the fight. That being said. I think Lesnar did a lot for the sport and pulled massive numbers and introduced the sport to lots of people who would never have watched if they didn't know him from WWE.

Regarding that Youtube video. Would love to see that guy try it with somebody like Overeem or Velasquez.
 
I used to watch and found it quite entertaining. Eventually got monotonous and stopped watching. Been a good 10 years since my last watch.
 
John Cena has Popeye arms.

Darren Young with his Johnny Bravo hairstyle looks like John Cena after to many hrs on the sunbed.
 
I will admit that I used to follow the WWF, now WWE, quite religiously.
But it got so boring after the likes of The Rock and Stone Cold left for good, heck even Cena was entertaining when he used to be the Doctor of Thuganomics.

But it just got stale after a while and I stopped watching it.

I do periodically follow the result on wrestlescoop every now and then to see whats happening.

All that being said, I did watch Survivor Series, was the first time in about 2-3 years that I watched any wrestling.

When watching a.movie I know it's fake but the wrestling is so bad at faking. I guess I'm just amazed at the amount of people following it. That is a multimillion dollar industry. Even the local wrestling that they show ou tv, I'm just so amazed at how the audience carry on, especially the woman.

Its entertainment. Like Bold and the Beautiful but in a ring with tights. Children still enjoy it. Grown Ups its different but the most you see at the shows are ones taking their kids there. Wrestling is also a multimillion industry. Vince use to be a boxing ring announcer lol
The woman just perv over the blokes lol like we stop and watch when the divas is strutting their stuff and walk away when their done
 
Like it was said before, we know its scripted but watch it for entertainment. I used to watch regularly in 2010 but stopped when it got boring. Watched one episode of Smackdown last week and deleted it after about 20mins in. Even more boring now.

Mind you, watching Randy Orton nail someone with an RKO or Shawn Michaels with a bit of Sweet Chin Music is still awesome to watch. The other day I got pissed of when someone did not want to help me with information at a cellphone shop. I thought how cool it would be if could change their outlook with a Stone Cold Stunner!! Yup, WWE does have its moments.

yaaaah... fake, not fake, lame, not lame

the lesson from the video is not to insult a guy that much bigger than you... his Wikipedia stats might not be entirely accurate but anywhere near 2m tall and 120kg is pretty damn big

The Rock, Steve Austin and Goldberg might be running around in tights shouting cheesy lines but I still wouldn't insult them at least not whilst I'm within arms reach.

Stopped watching wrestling about 6 years ago when I got dstv. Watched a few times here and there, it's really gone downhill since then a lot of the good wrestlers (characters) have left and the new ones are crap
 
Sure it's fake but I won't have it any other way. Where else can an undead zombie fight an Olympic gold medalist while a leprachaun hides underneath the ring with a Wall Street millionaire on commentary?

FYI Jericho returns tonight :cool:
