Hi, I was wondering if anyone knows this site, www.keebot.com , have never heard of them and my google fu isnt finding much about them.

I'm trying to get hold of this : HackRF One PortaPack 2 and its so far one of the few places I've found selling them.....well besides all these weird looking local sites like HappyFishZA, reliablestore.co.za, sellers on bobshop, etc....

They are based in Carletonville, found this

Besides that, they have some other smaller SDRs which is nice too.

Yeah, I saw that, thats just another thing that bothers me, I think they would import on demand perhaps? Like do a mass order once a week or something from overseas or something.

I dont get immediate "scam vibes" but just appears to be a drop shipping site tbh
yup, me too. Man, wish Amazon would open here so it makes getting this stuff easier.
I imported my HackRF One because locally the site that would sell them, wouldnt sell without tons of paperwork or again, weird sites like above.
Thank you for your thoughts.

Found this on their site:

Xvanta (Pty) Ltd T/A Keebot

They have multiple drop shipping companies. Another one is:
Xvanta (Pty) Ltd T/A Craftivating

We are an online store exclusively, we unfortunately do not have a walk-in store at the moment as stock is sourced from various suppliers on a per-order basis, and no stock is kept on premises.

Placed an order for an item on March 1st, sent my 3rd follow up today (2months later). Last time they replied asking if I wanted a refund, so they do communicate. Wouldn't use them again, not sure I'll ever get the item.

I bought some switches from them on the 13th of April 2023. I have send them a email on Friday the 12th of May to enquire about my order and got a automated email response that they will get back to me within 24 business hours.Today is the 17th of May and not a peep from them...... Rather stay clear of them

Look, if they specify courier, then it could be worthwhile, but I have come accross a few drop-ship shops in SA that specify courier delivery only for courier to be a code word for SAPO delivery, and truth be told, if SAPO gets involved, you have a 95% chance of your order being stolen. There are some seller on BobShop that do drop-shipping, and I have dealt with a few of them and all of them have used Buffalo Express, and let me tell you, Buffalo Express' service is fantastic and fast. So I would sugegst you poll the shop on who exactly they use before shopping with them.

Hah, same as me! (1st March order)
2 months of follow ups and finally they said they received the shipment but it was damaged. Tried to get pictures, clarify what the damage was, and no response. Gave up and asked for a refund, suddenly they responded.
Now it seems like they either botched the refund or just sent the money to their own account. Contacted PayFast who were hopeless and just told me to contact the merchant and closed my tickets. Nearly 3mo in and I don’t have my item or my money back (only R300-odd). Absolutely not worth the hassle.
Meanwhile, the thing I wanted came back into stock at Banggood and got here in 12 days. Arrived with a courier on Saturday afternoon.

Update: I found the money. It went back to my credit card despite them telling me that it wasn’t possible and requesting my banking details which I supplied. Weirdly I never got a notification.

With the above comments and my personal experience I would say: STAY AWAY. I ordered an item om 1 April 2023. Their website said that it was in stock and that I would receive it in 10 to 15 working days. It is now two and a half months and 46 working days later and no joy yet. Initially they replied to my emails and a phone call I made, but lately I do not get any reply by email or phone call from them. The last reply was on 4 May when they said the item was at customs.

yeah, I dont trust these drop ship companies. Hope you didnt loose too much.

I placed an order with them on 4 July for just over R500 - still waiting for the order to move out of the "Processing" stage, and no reply to two emails so far.

Guess I can kiss that R500 goodbye.

You should add a negative review on HelloPeter. The more people see they are criminal, the better and hopefully less people will throw their money away.

I have ordered a motorcycle backpack from Keebot on 7 April 2023.... It has been 5 months later and still the item has not been delivered.... I sent numerous emails and all I get back is an automated response stating that the email was received and the business hours. But no actual response to my email..... R1339 down the drain....

My order eventually arrived, it was 4-5 months in the end but it did arrive. Support did reply to me and the item I needed wasn't a priority, but I ended up giving up and ordering from Amazon, and then a month later the Keebot ones arrived at the post office.
