Why am I only hearing about this site now... its so awesome.

Basically its a hardware benchmarking site that will let you bench all your hardware (CPU,RAM,GPU,DRIVES) and then show you a rating for each component comparing with other users on the same hardware.
Then you can make fantasy builds and it will give you a expected bench that you can compare to your current build, it will also let you swap out components on your current build to see what kind of performance improvement you will get.
There is also a value rating and they will give the current price of each item in RANDS !

I quite like the approach they took, building an affiliate site that's actually useful

Is you system permanently on?

Also I wouldn't have thought you to be the non SSD having type.

Nope, I only turn it on for the duration of my gaming sessions, rest of the time I use my laptop. I think that uptime of 7.8 days is the total time it's been on since I reinstalled Win 10 not sure though.

I'll get a ssd later on, I'm really not phased by loading times (except gta5!), the wd blue hdd i have is actually pretty fast for a spinner.

I was wondering about that 7.8 days, probably just a mistake.

You should get a SSD it makes everything better, whenever I have to do stuff on my system without a SSD I want to die.

Looking at DrJohnZoidberg's bench (new PC) I think it measures the entire time the OS has been running irrespective of restarts. The Run Duration is current uptime as I ran that bench right after turning the PC on.

I'll get a SSD sometime in the future but would prefer a 500GB-1TB one.
