@Wynsam... Is this you?

He lives down the road from me :D

* I think is going to end up in OT ;)*

Thanks.

We hope to be able to get the members money back for them.

I appreciate the good wishes.

Anyone else think they can launch a nice business off the back of collecting a cool +- 400 million rand extra? In today's terms that approx 600 -700 million rand.

More than likely, I read the mg article and quite frankly for the supposed "valued" services they offered for R100k extra a year, I wouldn't have bothered paying them R10 for it ;)

Not 100K. +- R114 Million per year.

On average for the current group of 300 members each one paid about R1 600. With interest this comes to a claim of R 2850 each.

We know that in all 244 000 families or principal members were affected.

And I dont think they spent anything like an extra R10 per month per member providing those services. Nor sure it would have cost an extra R1 per member per month.

Not that they had permission to charge it in the first place.

I agree, main thing is that it needs to be corrected and I hope you have the patience to see it through. Not good when large companies take their clients for fools.

Yes we are here for the long run.

There a quite a bit of speculation that we were all talk and no action and that the papers would never be served on Discovery Health. Well now they are.

My father has had a few unpleasant dealings with Discovery

*Wynsam notice any noxious smells up where you are today ;):D*

Alert : Thread highjack in progress!!:p No all OK here.

Your feather duster tree been cleaning up again?

considering the ruling on Mittal and Telkom, both were found guilty but Telkom didn't pay. Mittal is banking on a permanent redtape procedure to delay payment indefinitely....what are the chances that Discovery will pay the money if they are ordered to?
