X-Box Live??

Hi Guys

It's my brother's birthday in a couple days and he has asked for a 12month sub and a couple point on the service..Now my question, should I register him on the SA XBOX live? He just wants to play some Crysis,DBZ Raging something lol , Fable and Gears online (I think). Will there be games on the local network or should I just get him a UK account.
Internet wise..running a 1mb line on WebAfrica's RedAfrica deal and 384 Axxess uncapped as backup, will this be ok also?

Any help would be appreciated.

There's no real benefits to having a local account, so I'd say rather go for a UK account (he can always migrate the account to SA at a later stage). At least when new games and DLC come out he will be able to get them straight away, whereas locally, only a very small fraction of the content released onto Xbox LIVE becomes available. He should then jump onto the local Xbox forums and start adding locals as friends on his account, and then he's set

Oh, and 384K is good enough for Xbox LIVE, although 512K upwards is preferable because of the bigger upload capacity. Also, an unshaped account will help if he intends to play with internationals, but not necessary.
