X-Men '97

Two episode show opener done & dusted.

This slaps like an uppercut to the system, complete nostalgia overload.

Calling it now, it was spectacularly well done. I’m so impressed how it is respectful of the OG show & delivers on fan service.

The animation is beautiful, the theme song is ever so subtly updated, besides all that the plot points of both episodes is edge of your seat material. OG character for me is Wolverine, he has that dry humour in spades & then in 2nd place was Magneto who really comes to the party in the 2nd epi.

The votes/impressions don't lie.

Enjoyed the first two episodes, seems like they're borrowing stories from different x-men comic series with this one again.

Logan is almost immediately my favorite character of the show.

 
I love this animation style so much, brings back memories. Glad to see it's holding up so far...
