*sigh* seems I'm having lots of hardware issues lately.

I have a Media Center with a 7300GS (PCI-E) which only supports 1080i out, I want to swap the card with my desktops Gigabyte X800 (PCI-E) which supports 1080p, and will generally give better performance when running at the higher resolution.

Here's the problem, when I put the X800 in the Media Center, the PC doesn't start, turns on, nothing on the screen. Doesn't sound like its booting either. Plug old card back in, and everything works 100%. Put X800 back in desktop PC, and it works. Put it back in the Media Center, and nothing. I don't think its a power issue, when I unplug everything from the power supply, it still doesn't start.

Anyone have any idea's where to start?

What is the power rating on the 2 power supplies?

I've tried running both power supplies with just the graphics card and motherboard plugged in, on the Media Center motherboard it just doesn't power up. Damn annoying, maybe the motherboard uses more power, go figure.

I'll see if I can find a stronger PSU. Don't really feel like buying a new one to test, might as well get a new graphics card then.
