X96 Max Android TV Box

Good day.

A friend of mine is leaving DSTV and joined a streaming service. He wants to buy the X96 Max Android TV Box. I bought the Xiaomi 4K Ultra HD TV Box S Media Player (2nd Gen) and am very happy with it.
I don't know anything about the X96 Android box. I have read some reviews saying that it has a problem with Netflix and other paid streaming services and so on. Couldn't find out why it has a problem with Netflix.

Can Netflix be installed on it and something Like DSTV Stream?

He asked for my advice and don't want him to buy something which will noet work properly.

Stick to the Xiaomi, I have used all types of boxes, Xiaomi comes second to my nVidia Shield.

If you want Google TV OS (newer version) - go for the Xiaomi MiBox Gen 2 - if you are OK with Android TV OS (older version), go for the Netogy Nova (which also has a LAN port, 16 GB storage & a SD card port).
